Gradual Gas Solenoid Valve

Gradual Gas Solenoid Valve

The purpose of this article is to get familiar with the Gradual type Gas Valve.

The Gradual Gas Solenoid Valve is used to control and cut off and connect the fluid flow in gas lines, gas pressure reduction stations and gas burners. It is made of aluminum, steel and brass.

The Gradual Gas Solenoid Valve is a type of safety valve that is normally closed and the fluid flow is not carried out by it. After receiving the command, this type of electric gas valve opens slowly and gradually and the fluid passes through it, and then it closes quickly. One of the main tasks of the Gradual Gas Solenoid Valve is to cut off and connect the flow, control the flow path, control the amount and pressure of the passing flow, and control and keep the devices under pressure safe.

The mechanism of operation of a Gradual Gas Solenoid Valve

When the bobbin is connected to the electric current, it slowly moves the valve shaft and the piston upwards, then the oil above the piston enters the secondary chamber through small holes, and in this way the valve shaft moves gradually and slowly, and the path opens the gas. But when the electricity is cut off, the high pressure of the piston causes the valve shaft to quickly move to its place and block the gas path quickly.

Application of Gradual Gas Solenoid Valve

Progressive gas valves are used to regulate and control air and gas in all types of industrial burners, including atmospheric burners or fan burners, as well as in industrial furnaces and in all gas equipment that requires the installation of an electric valve. Progressive gas solenoid valves are also used in petrochemicals, refineries, treatment plants, air conditioning systems, fluid transmission lines, factories, power plants, engine houses and gas facilities.

Advantages of Gradual Gas Solenoid Valve

Due to their simple structure, gradual gas solenoid valve have a very cheap and reasonable price, while they have high performance speed and high durability and have excellent performance. Also, gradual gas valves are very reliable and even if they don’t work for a long time, they will still be closed reliably. And also the possibility of long-term service time, the best performance in minimum and maximum pressure difference to operate, with an excellent diaphragm design for very high currents, quick and reliable disconnection and connection capability, low consumption in terms of electricity, ease of maintenance and repair. Due to the easy access to the internal components of the electric valve, the possibility of quick response compared to other industrial valves, integrated design and easy to use.

Constituents of Gradual Gas Solenoid Valve

The gradual gas solenoid valve consists of two main body parts (main valve including inlet, outlet, diaphragm and diaphragm spring) and solenoid (coil including coil, iron rod, spring, control valve and control channel). The solenoid part of the gradual gas solenoid valve consists of a coil, an iron rod, a spring, a control valve, and a control channel, and the main valve includes an inlet, an outlet, a diaphragm, and a diaphragm spring. When the valve is active, very little flow always passes through the fluid, conduit and control valve. In gradual electric valve, rubber or metal seals are used to seal different parts of the valve. Also, a spring (diaphragm spring) is used to open or hold the diaphragm when the solenoid valve is inactive.
