In general, a damper is a type of flow blocker that is responsible for opening and closing or adjusting and controlling the flow passing through any path such as inside the duct and chimney. The dampers operate in two ways, manual and automatic, in manual dampers, the control is done by the hand and the external lever, and in automatic dampers, the damper motor serves the motor.

The performance of this damper actuator is gradual (modulation) which has high performance accuracy. The electric current supporting the Honeywell damper motor (LKS160) is 220 volts and its frequency is in the range of 50 to 60 Hz. This damper electric actuator has a 90 degree stroke rotation (quarter round) and is made in Western Europe. One of the unique features of Honeywell’s LKS series damper motors is the ability to rotate both left-handed and right-handed.
